Eva Longoria’s Son Santiago, 6, Joins Her on the Red Carpet in Paris
Eva Longoria had a stylish mother-son date in Paris!
On Saturday, Oct. 5, the actress, 49, attended the Global Gift Gala at the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris with her 6-year-old son Santiago by her side. The duo walked the red carpet together and posed for photos.
Longoria wore a dazzling silver strapless, floor-length gown for the occasion. Her dress featured intricate designs embellished with sequins and overlaid on a sheer fabric. She accessorized the look with a simple silver necklace and a chunky bracelet, along with a few matching rings.
Meanwhile, Santiago looked adorably dapper in a tiny black tux with a button-up shirt underneath. He completed his ensemble with a pair of white sneakers with Velcro straps. Santiago seemed to be recovering from an injury, as he also wore a bright pink cast on his left arm.
As they posed for photos, the mother-and-son pair were captured holding hands with matching smiles on their faces. At one point, Longoria tenderly cradled Santiago’s chin with her hand.
The Desperate Housewives alum welcomed Santiago with her husband, José Antonio “Pepe” Bastón, in June 2018. “From the moment he was placed in my arms, I knew no love like this before,” she wrote on Instagram shortly after his birth, calling him a “miracle.”
Longoria shared a peek at herself getting glam for the Global Gift Gala on her Instagram Stories, and Santiago could be seen in the background eating a large chocolate bar while his mom’s hairdresser put the finishing touches on her sleek locks.
“Let me see, papa,” Longoria said to her son in the video. “Let me see you!” She then focused the camera on Santiago’s formal look as he grinned at the camera.
Longoria later shared a video of herself and her son during the event’s photo call with the caption, “Santi did not want to leave the red carpet.”
The My Mexican Kitchen cookbook author recently sat down with Hoda Kotb on Today to discuss the ways her son is “evolving and changing.”

“Oh my God, you know what, I love [that] he’s always with me when I’m working,” Longoria said. “If we’re in Spain, we just all go to Spain. If we’re in Rome, we’re all in Rome. And he’s very cultured.”
She continued to gush about her son’s reaction to their traveling, recalling him saying, “Oh mom, can we have macarons if you go to Paris? We can eat jamón when we’re in Spain.”
“I just love how global he’s growing up, and [how he] understands and appreciates other cultures and other languages,” Longoria added.
