Katie Holmes Arrived to Her Broadway Gig in $2,370 Patchwork Jeans That Scream Art School
Katie Holmes is keeping things colorful.
On Friday, Oct. 4, the actress, 45, was spotted in a pair of $2,368 multicolored patchwork jeans while arriving to her gig in Broadway’s Our Town at the Barrymore Theatre in New York City. The star also wore a navy blue button down shirt, flats, a baseball cap and aviator sunglasses. She carried a white tote bag as well as a Starbucks cup.
Holmes’ pants, which feature a variety of colors and patterns, are from Japanese clothing line Kapital. The brand was founded in 1985 and which specializes in denim and patchwork.
The specific design worn by the Dawson’s Creek alum appears to be sold out on retailers, is available online through luxury reseller Justin Reed.
Holmes is currently in preview performances for Our Town, the revival of Thornton Wilder’s classic play. The show opens on Oct. 10. The actress portrays Mrs. Webb opposite Tony and Emmy winner Richard Thomas as Mr. Webb, and Zoey Deutch as Emily Webb. The cast consists of a whopping 28 actors, led by Emmy-winner Jim Parsons as the “stage manager” narrator.
On Aug. 29, Holmes shared a set of Polaroids to her Instagram grid sharing some fun behind-the-scenes moments with Deutch, 29.
“Love working on @ourtownbroadway,” the Batman Begins actress wrote. “We are in rehearsals and having a great time. This is the very talented and kind and funny and wonderful @zoeydeutch and me 🌻🌻🌻”
“Come see @ourtownbroadway preview performances begin September 17. We open October 10! ❤️,” the star added.

Holmes made her Broadway debut in the 2008 revival of All My Sons and most recently appeared in 2012’s Dead Accounts.
A longtime fashion icon, the actress has been doling out plenty of fall style inspo during her latest Broadway stint. On Sept. 23, she took a leisurely stroll in a light green quilted puffer jacket with a pink fuzzy collar. She also toted a Lands’ End medium five-pocket canvas tote bag in the color Heritage Red and emblazoned with her initials, KH, on the front.

When October hit, Holmes busted out a pale yellow turtleneck, which she layered under a matching wool coat. She teamed the monochromatic staples with straight-leg blue jeans and black loafers.
