Dwight Howard Is Unrecognizable in Wig on ‘Dancing with the Stars’
Dwight Howard was movin’ and shakin’ during his latest performance on Dancing with the Stars — but it was his hair that stole the show.
The basketball player, 38, had Internet captivated after he and pro Daniella Karagach, 31, took their Cha Cha to the dance floor on Soul Train Night.
Not only did they deliver with an enthusiastic routine, they also nailed their throwback costumes.
The dancers matched in disco teal ensembles and retro hairstyles, which meant Howard putting on a wig styled as a bob with bangs to get into the zone.

Viewers couldn’t get over the surprising look and took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to comment on the ‘70s-inspired hairpiece.
“Dwight Howard in this wig will forever be legendary,” one fan wrote. “Did not expect to see Dwight Howard in a wig (?) in 2024,” another added. Others even compared the hairstyle to the animated Incredibles character, Edna Mode, who famously rocks a sharp haircut with straight bangs.
The athlete — who shared multiple videos of him getting his wig fitted behind the scenes — even poked fun at himself on X, writing: “They said Bob Howard not invited to the cookout.”
Howard and Karagach received a 23/40 score, placing them at the bottom, but the athlete ended the night in high spirits. “Hope I didn’t do that bad. I’ll be back better though,” he wrote on X.
The ballroom has become a second home to Howard since he kicked off his stint on the 33rd season of the competition series on Sept. 17.
