Travis Kelce Saw ‘Notting Hill’ After Meeting Julia Roberts at Eras Tour
Travis Kelce has a new rom-com under his belt!
Speaking with his brother Jason Kelce on the latest episode of their New Heights podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end revealed that he recently watched the 1999 classic Notting Hill. Travis, 35, notably met one of the movie’s stars, Julia Roberts, at one of girlfriend Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour stops this summer.
“I like watching films with people that I’ve met and I know,” said Travis, 35, during the podcast episode, released Wednesday, Oct. 9. “I watched Hugh Grant in, um … oh, what’s … Julia Roberts … Nottingham Hill? I watched that one. I enjoyed it.”
After someone off camera corrected him on the title, Jason, 36, asked his younger brother about his claim to have enjoyed it, questioning, “Did you? What’s it about?”
Travis replied with a laugh, “It’s about … see, this is why I’m not a good movie [person],” before going on to accurately describe the synopsis of the film.

Travis’ meetup with Roberts took place at Swift’s third and final concert at Aviva Stadium in Dublin on June 30. The NFL pro and the Academy Award-winning actress were seen laughing and talking as she held onto Travis’ shoulder.
In response to the video, which went viral on X (formerly Twitter) and other social media networks, Jackie Gonzalez — a deaf artist, social-media star and former contestant on Squid Game: The Challenge — shared an Instagram clip of herself reading Travis and Roberts’ lips.
According to Gonzalez, the actress told Travis, ” ‘I’m so unusually happy for you guys, and I don’t mean to make you nervous, but it makes me so happy.’ “

Travis also discussed meeting both Roberts and Stevie Nicks on his podcast in July, raving, “That was pretty cool, [Julia] was awesome. Her and Stevie Nicks were in there having some fun.”
He continued to praise Nicks, 76, and pointed out that his older brother needs to meet the rock legend — especially considering both Travis and their mother, Donna Kelce, already have.
“You might be the only one in the family that hasn’t met her yet. Mom got to meet her down in Florida … and she is, I mean, every bit as what everyone makes her out to be,” Travis told Jason at the time. “She’s just so, so awesome.”
