Burger King Will Sell an Advent Calendar with Nostalgic Gifts for $19.54
Advent calendars aren’t only for chocolate.
Burger King is skipping past Thanksgiving and looking ahead to Christmas. The home of the Whopper announced that it will have an advent calendar and 31 Days of Deals this year.
The BK Advent Calendar is decked out with a wintery village motif and packed with 12 days worth of gifts. The full list of items will be revealed in mid-November but will include “everything from cozy comfort to festive flair, nods to favorite items like Chicken Fries and the Whopper, and nostalgic nods (hello, Burger King Kids Club!) to inspire unforgettable holiday memories,” per a press release.
The calendar, which goes for $19.54 in honor of the fast food joint’s founding year, is filled with items equal to a retail value over $100.
It will go on sale Nov. 22 but eager fans can text ADVENT to 251-251 to get “in line” for the advent calendar right when it goes on sale.
Burger King superfans can also score some holiday-inspired deals this December. Rewards members have access to 31 Days of Deals: a month-long opportunity to get goodies like free food and holiday merchandise. While the exact promos have yet to be shared, last year’s offers included free cheeseburgers and weekly $3 Whoppers.
The deals will be available to Royal Perks members on the Burger King app. There, the village seen on the BK Advent Calendar will come to life and users will find the daily deals in their digitized mailbox. There will also be “festive activities and interactions around the village,” according to the release.
Burger King still has a few weeks of Halloween-inspired deals, too. Through Nov. 10, Royal Perks members are eligible for a different Addams Family meal deal each day of the week.
On Mondays, customers can snag a $5 Wednesday’s Whopper and on Tuesdays, they can get a Creepy and Kooky Meal, which includes a Wednesday’s Whopper Sandwich, a Morticia’s Kooky Chocolate Shake and a small Thing’s onion rings for $12.
On Wednesdays, Burger King will offer the $10 Macabre Meal, which pairs a Wednesday’s Whopper Sandwich, a small soft drink, one small fries and a four-piece Gomez’s Churro Fries.
Gomez’s Mysterious Meal comes on Thursdays. It includes one Whopper Jr., a small Thing’s Rings, a four-piece Gomez’s Churro Fries and a small soft drink for $7.
On Fridays, fans can get the $22 Thing’s Bizarre Bundle for Two. This order is two Wednesday’s Whopper Sandwiches, two small Thing’s Rings and two Morticia’s Kooky Chocolate Shakes.
